Collector Praveen Prakash on Thursday instructed the mandal level officials and medical officers to establish round the clock health centers in the villages if cases of diarrhea and gastroenteritis were reported. The special officers should take care of the health centres and also ensure door to door survey in the villages where the cases were reported, Mr. Praveen Prakash told officials during a tele conference.
Five lakh sachets of oral dehydration solution should be made ready for distribution along with the chlorine tablets. The village secretaries were told to report to the MROs and MDOs and also the Collectorate, the deaths of persons aged below 50. A team of officials would examine the reasons for the death, while the Special Officers would conduct an inquiry in the first week of every month.
