At a press conference held on Saturday, Peethadipathi Yaddannapudi Ayyannapantulu said that Satchandi Yagam will be performed during Navarathri celebrations by Sri Mahakameswari Peetam from October 4 to 12. He said that Lalitha Devi puja, part of Panchayatana, is performed by placing Ganesh in the south west, the Surya in North West, Vishnu in north east, Siva in south east and with Lalitha Devi in the centre.

Lalithasahasranamam, Lalithatrisathi, Khadgamala stotram, Durga Sapthasathi etc., are recited during the Navarathri celebrations. Several eminent Vedic scholars will participate in the Sathachandi Yagam, he said.
